The Certificate of Academic Commendation award is for students who achieve Very High Achievements (VHAs) in the equivalent of at least six Authority subjects, i.e. at least 24 semesters at VHA standard. The QCAA identifies recipients following finalisation of student results for certification in December.

The award winners receive a Certificate of Academic Commendation by post in mid-late December.

The names of the Certificate of Academic Commendation recipients and the subjects they studied are published with permission.
