The QCAA is reviewing the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline (QKLG) (2018). Revisions will:
- align the QKLG with Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia V2.0 (EYLF V2.0)
- cater for three-year-olds accessing early education and care in kindergarten.
The review has been prompted by Australian education ministers approving updates to the EYLF V2.0 in December 2022.
We will publish a draft QKLG for public consultation in March 2024 and a final version by August 2024.
