Welcome to the Registration and Banking component of Senior Learning Information Management System (SLIMS).
This site allows you, as a learning provider, to register young people and bank their learning enrolments and results. Other methods are available for transferring this information to QCAA; see Registration and learning accounts.
From 2018 QCAA will introduce a new online application – Student Management – as part of the transition to the new QCE system. Schools and learning providers will need to use Student Management for the 2018 Year 10 cohort and subsequently the Year 11 cohort in 2019 and the Year 12 cohort in 2020. The Student Management application is due for release in March 2018.
SDCS and SLIMS/RABS will continue until late 2019, when they will be decommissioned and retained for historical records.
Queensland state law requires all young people to be registered with the QCAA within one year of them completing Year 10 or turning 16.
Students in the 2018 Year 10 cohort should not be registered in SLIMS. Please register these students in the new Student Management application available from March 2018. Contact QCAA Helpdesk for more information.
All schools and training providers need an administration login and the administrator is responsible for adding other users within the organisation. If your organisation has never registered with QCAA and has not received login details, please complete the local system administrator request form and it will be arranged.
To register a young person, use your login details in the box to the right.
The Registration and Banking Systems user guide will help you use RABS.
A Learning account is automatically generated for the student once they are fully registered. They can then access their account through the Student Connect website. Generally, their learning account will remain open until the student is awarded their Queensland Certificate of Education.
The Student learning accounts user guide contains information for students on how to activate and log into their learning account, and how to recover a LUI and/or password.
If you need more help with the system, contact QCAA helpdesk by telephone (07) 3864 0269 or email email@example.com.
