2018 Key dates

The table below shows the key activities for the 2018 QCS Test and the dates on which they will occur.

Chief supervisor nomination process

Chief community representative nomination process

Special provision applications open

Schools apply to vary the location of the test centre

1 March to 18 May

Schools submit the names of students who will be sitting the test at an alternative test centre to their normal school

1 March to 18 May

Special provision — closing date for ‘long-term condition’ applications

21 May

Chief community representative appointment process

June to August

Appointment notices emailed to chief community representatives

June to August

Directions for Administration (DFA) published online

July

Instructions to students and Calculator declaration forms delivered to schools

July

Test materials delivery and pick-up times provided to schools

early August

Non-secure test materials delivered to schools

mid-August

Secure test materials delivered to schools

late August

Chief supervisors download Corrections instructions

3 September, from 7 am

Closing date for all students sitting the test to have signed the Calculator declaration form

Special provision — closing date for ‘recent condition’ applications

QCS Test Day 1: Writing Task and Multiple Choice I administered to students
