It is a condition of registration that all Queensland school RTOs notify the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) of any changes to contact details and changes or events that affect the operation of the RTO. School RTOs must notify ASQA of these changes as soon as practicable after they happen (preferably within 20 working days) and without being requested to do so.
Notification of change of provider details
Use this ASQA form to notify ASQA of changes to provider details, for example, change to RTO manager (registration and public enquiries person), changes to addresses, contact details, website or RTO delivery sites.
When emailing your form to ASQA, you must also 'CC' a copy to the QCAA VET Branch at email@example.com as this is the only way that changes will be made to the VET Branch records.
The QCAA VET Branch no longer accepts email advice regarding changes to RTO Managers – temporary or permanent.
Notification of material change or event
Use this ASQA form to notify ASQA of any of major changes. Major changes may include: changes to chief executive officer/principal; and change to ownership or legal name.
In some cases, further information will be required and the form will provide further information regarding this.
When emailing your form to ASQA, you must also cc a copy to the QCAA VET Branch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
