Curriculum options for schools include:

The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority provides the Career Education Short Course Syllabus (2018). This one-unit course is designed to support students as they move towards their chosen pathways beyond school.

Upon successful completion, this course contributes one credit point to the Queensland Certificate of Education. It is informed by the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3.

The Australian Curriculum: Work Studies, Years 9–10 is an optional school-based subject that provides opportunities for students to undertake vocational learning and develop work-readiness skills in preparation for further study towards a skilled occupation or further education after leaving school.
