Certificate of Academic Commendation

From 2020, the Certificate of Academic Commendation award is for students who achieve an A in at least six General subjects. The QCAA identifies recipients following finalisation of student results for certification in December.

The award winners receive a Certificate of Academic Commendation by post in January.

The names of the Certificate of Academic Commendation recipients and the subjects they studied are published with permission.

From 2014 to 2019, the award was for students who achieved Very High Achievements (VHAs) in the equivalent of at least six Authority subjects, i.e. at least 24 semesters at VHA standard.
