General (Senior External Examination) subject/s: Eligibility application

Who needs to apply?

You need to apply to establish your eligibility if you want to register for a General (Senior External Examination) subject, will be 16 years of age or younger at the end of the examination year, and:

  • are not enrolled in a Queensland secondary school
  • have not received a Senior Statement or Queensland Certificate of Education by completing Year 12 at a secondary school
  • are residing in Queensland.

How many subjects can you register for?

If you are eligible, you can register for up to three subjects per year.
