Health General Senior Syllabus 2019: Syllabus amendment notice

Amendments have been made to the Health General Senior Syllabus 2019.

Summative internal assessment 1: Investigation — action research

The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended — ‘overarching health approaches, frameworks and resources’ has replaced ‘overarching health approaches, frameworks or resources’ in the Recognising and comprehending criterion, 5–6 performance level, to better describe the evidence required.

Summative internal assessment 2: Examination — extended response

The item specifications have been amended for clarity — ‘justify one recommendation’ has replaced ‘justify a recommendation’.

The conditions have been amended — ‘planning’ time has replaced ‘perusal’ time to enhance accessibility for students.

The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended — ‘overarching health approaches, frameworks or resources’ has replaced ‘overarching health approaches, frameworks and resources’ in the Recognising and comprehending criterion, 3–4 performance level, to better describe the evidence required.

The instrument-specific marking guide has been amended — ‘overarching health approaches, frameworks or resources’ has replaced ‘overarching health approaches, frameworks and resources’ in the Recognising and comprehending criterion, 3–4 performance level, to better describe the evidence required.

Summative external assessment: Examination

Assessment objectives 2, 3 and 4 and the specifications description have been amended for clarity.
