As part of the transition to the new QCE system, QCAA is moving to a new online platform – Student Management – beginning with the 2018 Year 10 student cohort.

Student Management will gradually replace the Student Data Capture System (SDCS) and Student Learner Information System (SLIMS)/Registration and Banking System (RABS), which is currently used to manage student data and results.

SDCS and SLIMS/RABS will continue until late 2019, when they will be decommissioned and retained for historical records. Schools and learning providers should continue to use SDCS and SLIMS/RABS until 2019 for the following cohorts:

Students in Year 12 only

Note: Student Management will be used for Year 10 and Year 11

A quick reference guide and information about sessions will be available in early 2018.

System requirements

Student Management is a web-based application. Support is provided for the following browsers and devices:

  • Internet Explorer 11+
  • Mozilla Firefox 37+
  • Chrome 42+
  • Safari 8+
  • Desktop PCs and laptops.

Student Management will be optimised for mobile devices at a subsequent stage.
