Description

Children further develop geographical understanding and skills by:

  • observing and recording natural, managed and constructed features of places in the school grounds
  • sorting and describing natural, managed and constructed features of places in photographs
  • representing and annotating features of places on a pictorial map
  • using geographical language to describe the location and direction of places
  • reflecting on how features change and how they can be cared for.
